New flat, new city, new status of relationship and a new project. I spend 6 months working at Smeet Communictions GmbH (Flash based browsergame like second life). There, I was part of the pet departement.
Philipp Vogel my buddy from the Games Academy also worked with me. Our weekly tasks have been: the developement of lowpoly animals, including pet items. The whole pipeline except the idea, was in our hands, so we had to model, texture, rig, animate and render these 3d grafix in order to get flash pics. There was also a full 3d preview in the browser, so we had to care about our polycount.
Anyway, Smeet and I split and cause my Girlfriend and I split either, I left Berlin and moved to my home city Wasungen. So, now I´m living in a new flat and I´m working on some new projects, which should help to get a better job than the last.
Here is the progress of the last week. I´ve just used Maya and I didn´t use any referenz, cause I allways spend to much time on searching the internet. My goal was to get a worker goblin with all the medium detail-edgeflows included in the lowpoly. Model is done so far... smoothing looks pretty good at the end (you can compare the smoothed and original mesh on the screen above). polycount is about 3700. stay tuned for texture and animation...
